Walking has become a major passion. Ange and I started walked again about 12 years in an effort to improve our fitness. First we just did circular walks in our local area, but now we have become hooked on long distance paths. Our model is to do do the path in sequence over a period of time rather than all in one go. We have completed, among others, the Cotswold Way, the Oxfordshire Way and the Ridgeway. We have recently finished the Wessex Ridgeway in Dorset and have done most of the Wessex Ridgeway in Wiltshire with our friends Merv and Pud. Since 2007 I have written a blog called Walking in the Country which, despite the name, covers both country and urban walks.
We are currently over three-quarters of the way along the 630 mile South West Coast Path. Here is a selection of pictures from the journey so far.
